Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will handle picking, packing, goods receipt, loading/unloading, and returns processing in a fast-paced environment.

Key attributes include excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a WMS and basic PC systems. You will work 40 hours per week with predictable daytime shifts and a supportive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are processed and handled correctly throughout the warehouse.
• Picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading and unloading of vehicles and processing returns

Job description

• Ensure products are processed and handled correctly throughout the warehouse.
• Picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading and unloading of vehicles and processing returns
• Assigned administrative tasks
• MHE, manual handling along with carrying out assigned computer-based tasks using a warehouse management system (WMS)
• Liaising with customers and responding to queries and requests within a timely manner
  Ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great attention to detail with an ability to effectively interpret large amounts of data
• Good PC knowledge
• Previous knowledge of WMS is preferred but not essential

You will be working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 07:00-16:00 however, a degree of flexibility may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the business.
