Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Peterborough is seeking a warehouse operative to load and unload supplier vehicles, check paperwork for discrepancies, and ensure goods are stored correctly within the warehouse.

You will follow all Safe Working Practices, report accidents, and collaborate with colleagues in a busy, team-oriented environment on a 4 on 4 off schedule, 06:00–18:00, with an hourly rate of £13.64 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse setting.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work cohesively with others.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading supplier vehicles.
• Checking all relevant paperwork and reposting any discrepancies.
• Ensuring that delivery coming into the warehouse is put away correctly.
• Complying with process and procedure and all instructed Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace.
• Experience previously working in a warehouse setting.
• Good levels of communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work cohesively and well with others.

Contract & Working Hours

It is a permanent, full-time position. You'll be working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering the hours between 06:00-18:00.
