Job summary

Unknown company is seeking a warehouse operative to load and unload products, manage inbound and outbound paperwork, and ensure goods are packed and dispatched securely.

You will operate in a chilled environment, meet deadlines, and adhere to Health & Safety and HACCP guidelines. A conscientious, reliable attitude and good verbal/numerical reasoning are essential.

Qualifications

• Load/unload product in line with company policies.
• Complete inbound and dispatch documentation.
• Report trailer or MHE faults per procedures.
• Assemble goods accurately per instructions.
• Secure dispatched loads before leaving loading bay.
• Meet productivity targets.
• Follow Health & Safety policies (SSOWs) and HACCP regulations.
• Handle customer returns and notify the Stock Controller.
• Able to work in a chilled/cold environment.
• Experience in deadline-driven environments.
• Good verbal and numerical reasoning.
• Conscientious and reliable with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products following company policies.
• Prepare and verify inbound and dispatch documentation.
• Report faults in trailers or MHE and place VOR vehicles.
• Ensure goods are picked, packed and secured for dispatch.
• Work to meet productivity targets and deadlines.
• Adhere to Health & Safety policies and HACCP regulations.

• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company's Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller.
• Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment
• Experience of working within an environment where achieving deadlines and quality of work are critical
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
• Conscientious and reliable nature
• Positivate 'can do' attitude
