ETC ’s London team is looking for our next great Warehouse Operative. As a global leader in lighting, rigging, and power controls, our products are used in theatres, theme parks, architectural spaces, museums, and other live event venues around the world. We are proudly celebrating our 50th year and are excited as we look forward to the next 50!

The warehouse team is responsible for the overall warehouse operations, including the receipt and movement of goods, inventory management, and shipping. This team works general day-shift hours, and we are looking for someone who is able to work 8:30am–5:00pm, though occasional overtime may be needed.

Representative Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all inbound and outbound shipments
  • Shipping: picking goods using barcode scanners, ensure accuracy of shipments, packing goods for suitable transit, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, driving the counterbalance forklift, reach truck, and scissor lift, take ownership of booking deliveries/collections via courier or Road/Air agents, handle paperwork - working with Customs Coordinator for Certificates of Origin/CI's, research quotes, providing customer service with cost effective pricing that meets customer's needs, log all non-ex-works shipments, scanning all shipping paperwork into OnBase database for filing and invoicing, ensure picking list printed and fulfilled or updated
  • Receiving goods: checking for condition, reporting any damages immediately, purchase order - compare PO against goods received, book into ERP system via barcode scanner, print storage lists and place goods in correct bin locations, create space for goods without location and log into ERP
  • RMA/RE goods: check for damage to packaging, check product match, book into ERP system
  • Facility deliveries: check condition, advise of issues, compare PO against goods received, book into ERP system and place items into storage lockups
  • Assist with inventory: perform cycle counts, ensure stock in in correct storage locations
  • Provide customer service via telephone, email, or face-to-face with internal and external customers
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse
  • Assist with loading and unloading of tradeshow trucks
  • Configuration of Sensor Racks: add additional parts as needed, reconfigure units due to overstock or shortage, ensure product conformity, complete appropriate test paperwork and serialization information
  • Performs other reasonable duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • 1 or more years experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Forklift training certification (counterbalance forklift) preferred
  • Knowledge of part numbers
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (occasionally working late nights and/or overtime)
  • Good Communication

  • Knowledge of computer programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Customer service skills
  • Competent use of small hand and electrical tools
