Job summary

Hi-Line, part of Ingersoll Rand, is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative in Burton upon Trent to support daily warehouse operations. You will handle goods-in and dispatch processes, use SAP for stock control, and ensure accurate stock records and paperwork.

This hands-on role requires precision, safety, and good organisation. The position is fully site based with opportunities to work across goods-in, stock checks and dispatch, contributing to efficient warehouse performance and customer

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, goods-in, stock control or dispatch environments.
• Experience using computer-based stock control systems (SAP advantageous).
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate stock records and paperwork.
• Ability to safely handle, pack, palletise and move stock within a warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Receive and quality-check deliveries and book goods onto SAP stock control.
• Unpack, move and store stock in designated locations.
• Maintain accurate stock records and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
• Prepare, label and rebrand stock items as required.
• Wrap and palletise goods for dispatch.
• Support handling, preparation and dispatch of all stock items.
• Complete delivery notes and warehouse paperwork accurately.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to support the day-to-day running of our warehouse. You will be involved across the full goods-in and dispatch process, from receiving and checking deliveries and booking stock onto SAP, through to preparing, labelling, palletising and dispatching goods.
This is a hands‑on role where accuracy, safety and good organisation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Receive and quality‑check incoming deliveries and book goods onto the SAP stock control system.
• Unpack, move and store stock in the correct designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate stock records and report missing stock or discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
• Prepare, label and rebrand stock items as required.
• Wrap and palletise goods safely and securely ready for dispatch.
• Support the handling, preparation and dispatch of all stock items.
• Complete delivery notes, paperwork and other warehouse documentation accurately and in line with company procedures

Basic Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a warehouse, goods‑in, stock control or dispatch environment.
• Experience of using computer‑based stock control systems, with SAP experience advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate stock records and paperwork.
• Ability to safely handle, pack, palletise and move stock within a warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Forklift licence would be desirable, though not necessary
