You will issue materials to production, kit work orders, maintain accurate ERP stock records and follow health, safety and quality procedures as part of a highly regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C (or equivalent) required.
  • Team player with good communication and numerical accuracy.
  • Experience with stock control and ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Run the Stores function ensuring accurate stock control.
  • Issue materials and kit work orders for production.
  • Maintain ERP stock records and assist Stores Manager.

Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Warehouse Operative [6 month fixed term contract] where you'll support us in the sufficient running of the Stores function . This role will be based at our Bolton Site. The Role

As a member of the Stores Team, you will report to our Stores Line Manager as part of our dedicated team you will be involved in running of the Stores function, and ensuring correct procedures are carried out in the storage and issue of materials. As part of this varied role you will Issue materials in line with agreed procedure in order to meet production and customer requirements. Kitting of work orders to Shop Floor and be maintaining accurate stock records on the ERP system by carrying out regular stock control as required. HSE and Quality regulations are adhered to at all times. Pick and issue stock according to pick lists and maintain stock rotation whilst following stock location procedures. Essentially you will also be provide general support to the Stores Manager and Stores team undertaking a variety of tasks as allocated. As we work in a highly regulated sector adhering to legislation & governing employment is critical, including health and safety, data protection, equal opportunities, quality assurance ensuring compliance with statutory and local policies and procedures.
