Ontic, a leader in aerospace parts, is seeking a Receiving & Release Inspector at Bishops Cleeve to ensure incoming and outgoing parts meet design, customer, and regulatory requirements.

You will review certificates and docs (AS9102), work with cross-functional teams, and maintain accurate records with Certificates of Conformance and UK Form 1.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality inspection environment, preferably aerospace or regulated industry.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.

You’ll carry out a wide range of inspections on aerospace parts and assemblies, using precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques to verify conformance against drawings, specifications and purchase orders.You’ll review certification and documentation, including First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102), and ensure all quality standards are met before products are accepted or released. Working closely with Supplier Quality, Supply Chain and Engineering teams, you’ll support the resolution of product issues and contribute to maintaining high standards across the supply chain. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll work closely with internal teams and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain quality standards.
