Job summary

Arvato, part of Bertelsmann, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for our Corby warehouse. You will lead daily operations, drive performance and safety, and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure excellent service, optimise resources, and deliver results that meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Operations Manager in a warehouse, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong leadership to coach, motivate and develop teams.
• Experience managing KPIs, SLAs and customer expectations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Analytical with data-driven approach; Lean knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operation, maintaining customer service levels and KPIs.
• Coach and inspire Supervisors and staff to maximise performance and engagement.
• Drive health and safety culture and ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor performance, analyze data and implement productivity improvements.
• Manage labour planning and resource allocation to meet demand.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with processes, quality standards and contracts.
• Support business objectives through planning, problem solving and decisions.
