Job summary

Arvato in Corby is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead one of our warehouse operations. You will drive day-to-day performance, coach Supervisors and colleagues, and ensure safety and customer service standards are met in a fast-paced logistics setting.

The role requires strong leadership, KPI management, data analysis and a collaborative approach to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Excellent communication with customers and internal teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Operations Manager role within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment.
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to coach, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience managing KPIs, SLAs and customer expectations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
• Experience of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring customer service levels and operational KPIs are consistently achieved.
• Develop, coach and inspire your Operations Supervisors and operational colleagues to maximise performance and engagement.
• Drive a strong health and safety culture, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, analysing data and implementing improvement initiatives to increase productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Build effective relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Manage labour planning and resource allocation to meet changing business demands.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean methodologies and best practice principles.
• Ensure compliance with all operational processes, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Support the delivery of business objectives through effective planning, problem solving and decision making.
