Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day warehousing, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of equipment and products. The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment with a focus on speed, accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a warehouse operation and leading a team.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience managing stock, inventory and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operation.
• Motivate and develop the warehouse team with a safety-focused culture.
• Oversee receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch of equipment and products.
• Coordinate movement of equipment around busy event and exhibition schedules.
• Ensure all equipment is checked, maintained, prepared and available when required.
• Manage stock levels and inventory accuracy; identify discrepancies and implement improvements.
• Work with Operations, Logistics, Sales and Project teams to meet customer deadlines.
• Plan warehouse resources around peak demand and ensure deadlines are met.
• Implement and maintain robust warehouse processes, systems and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement across warehouse efficiency and utilisation.
• Ensure full compliance with H&S, manual handling, storage and procedures.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and report performance to senior management.
• Manage relationships with transport and logistics partners.
