DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to coordinate our daily logistics requirements. This pivotal role involves managing stakeholder relationships, communicating continuously with customers to meet and exceed their needs.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Strategically manage all warehouse, distribution, and maintenance activities in line with DHL's policies and vision. Monitor and report on effectiveness, performance, and productivity, prioritizing safety and cost-efficiency.
• Manage and implement daily coordination of direct reports, ensuring schedules, regulations, records, and practices comply with company policies and UK legislation. Maintain high standards of health & safety and operational excellence.
• Continuously review and improve warehouse policies, procedures, and systems to maximize efficiency and operational performance.
• Provide operational leadership and budget responsibility to ensure a safe, efficient operation that meets standards and customer SLAs.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager, especially within fast-paced environments like Ecommerce.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team of over 100 colleagues, driving performance and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Ability to adapt and innovate in dynamic environments, with experience in start-ups and change management.
• Expertise in budget management to maintain operational efficiency and meet financial targets.
