Pay Rate: £40,000 to £46,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm (flexibility required with needs of the business)
Location: Redhill (RH1 5EH)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to coordinate our daily logistics requirements. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a strong understanding of storage and distribution procedures.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Manage all warehouse, distribution, and maintenance activities in line with DHL's policies and vision. Monitor and report on the effectiveness, performance, and productivity of all functions, prioritizing safety and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate daily activities of direct reports, ensuring schedules, regulations, records, and practices comply with company policies and UK legislation. Maintain excellent working practices and health & safety compliance.
• Review and evaluate warehouse policies, procedures, and systems regularly to ensure maximum efficiency and optimal operation.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager in a busy logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and relevant legislation.
• Leadership skills with the ability to organize and train teams.
• Proficiency in logistics software and computer literacy.
• Analytical skills with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with unions.
