What does the role entail?

1. Strategically manage all warehouse, distribution, and maintenance activities according to DHL's policies and vision, monitoring performance, productivity, and ensuring safety and cost-effectiveness.
2. Oversee daily coordination of direct reports, ensuring schedules, regulations, records, and practices align with company policies and UK legislation, while upholding health & safety standards.
3. Review and improve warehouse policies, procedures, and systems to maximize efficiency and operational effectiveness.
4. Lead operational activities and manage budgets to ensure safety, efficiency, and achievement of operational standards and customer SLAs.

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager, especially within fast-paced environments like the Ecommerce sector.
• Strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team of over 100 colleagues, fostering performance and a culture of excellence.
• Ability to adapt and innovate in evolving environments, with experience in start-ups and change management.
• Expertise in budget management to maintain operational efficiency and meet financial goals.
