Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting a Warehouse Admin Team Leader to join the National Distribution Centre in Walsall. The role combines people leadership with strong administration, systems handling and process improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a small warehouse admin team, oversee daily admin activities, system transactions and KPI reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely service to operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution.
• Experience in a Team Leader or supervisor role.
• People management and performance management capabilities.
• Experience managing administrative processes within an operational setting.
• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving ability.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a team operating at pace.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the warehouse administration team.
• Manage daily administrative activities supporting warehouse operations.
• Monitor team performance, attendance and productivity.
• Ensure all system transactions are processed accurately and on time.
• Support warehouse performance through effective KPI management and reporting.
• Drive a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Support change initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Work closely with operational, planning and wider support teams to ensure service delivery targets are achieved.
• Conduct investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions where required.
