Taylor Wimpey Logistics is our supply chain logistics business and is a vital component of our supply chain. We have a range of sites in various stages of development around the country.

The Operations Supervisor will lead their team to achieve company goals, KPIs and quality standards while reporting on performance. Responsibilities include setting expectations, coaching and managing attendance, with emphasis on data accuracy and continuous improvement in processes.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in operations/logistics.
• Experience managing a successful team.
• End-to-end understanding of ERP and WM systems (ideally Sage X3).
• Knowledge of health and safety within an operational environment (IOSH trained preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and high standards of work practices.
• Motivate employees through daily team briefs and monthly performance reviews with timely feedback.
• Provide a coaching environment, encouraging training and development.
• Manage and report on attendance, performance and work environment using company policies and team leadership.
• Continuously monitor performance to ensure KPI targets are met.
• Develop and improve current practices, engaging team and implementing change as required.
• Ensure data integrity and timely input to improve stock accuracy.
