This is a hands-on role focused on KPIs, performance trends and practical improvements, with scope to develop a high-performing team across the Kent operation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a sizeable warehouse or logistics operation.
• Strong background within 3PL, contract logistics or fulfilment.
• Experience managing operational managers and large warehouse teams.
• Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, productivity and labour performance.
• Track record of delivering measurable operational improvements.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment with demanding service levels.
• Good knowledge of warehouse processes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop operational managers and warehouse teams.
• Own daily warehouse performance, service levels and productivity.
• Set expectations around KPIs and drive accountability.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Drive improvements across productivity, labour utilisation and processes.
• Ensure effective resource and labour planning across the operation.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to meet service expectations.
• Identify issues quickly and implement practical, sustainable solutions.
• Support WMS implementations and process optimisations.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance.
