Job summary

BSS Industrial in Glasgow is seeking a Warehouse Manager to take overall responsibility for the safe, efficient and well-organised running of our warehouse, transport and delivery operation. You will lead the warehouse team, work with the Warehouse Supervisor and Sales Team to ensure orders are picked, checked and dispatched on time.

The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse management experience, strong knowledge of health and safety, stock control and logistics planning, plus hands-on

Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience within a warehouse, distribution, logistics or transport environment.
• Experience managing a warehouse team and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse and delivery operation.
• Lead, manage and develop the warehouse team and coordinate workloads with the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Ensure orders are picked, checked, prepared and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Oversee stock control and warehouse organisation, including goods-in and paperwork accuracy.
• Ensure transport compliance and administration within the branch, maintaining records and processes.
