Warehouse Operations Controller

About the Role

Based in Solihull, supporting a large aerospace customer, we seek a meticulous and results-focused Operations Controller to manage warehousing activities, assist with material movements, and contribute to contractual targets. The role is Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure smooth workflow and contribute to market delivery speed.
2. Provide management control through planning, organization, and communication to meet and exceed KPIs and service levels.
3. Manage resource allocation, oversee shift colleagues, and foster a culture of employee engagement and operational excellence.
4. Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained, with materials and processes completed correctly and safely, complying with protocols.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have experience managing diverse teams, handling absence reporting, conducting appraisals, and overseeing training. Experience in warehousing or production environments, building client relationships, and strong decision-making skills are essential. IT proficiency, report writing, and flexibility in working hours are also required.
