Your Role

Based in Solihull, supporting logistics for a large aerospace customer, we seek a meticulous and results-focused Operations Controller to manage warehousing activities, assist with material movements, and contribute to contractual targets. The role is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Operations Manager, ensuring smooth workflow and faster market delivery.
• Provide management control through planning, organization, and communication to meet and exceed KPIs and service levels.
• Manage resource supply across the warehouse, oversee shift colleagues, and promote a culture of employee engagement and operational excellence.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met, with materials and processes compliant with company and client protocols.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience managing a diverse team, including absence reporting, appraisals, and training oversight.
• Experience in warehousing or production environments, with strong client relationship skills.
• Decision-making, influencing, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills.
• IT proficiency, including MS Office and reporting tools.
• Flexible working hours support as needed.
