Job summary

Evri is hiring a Night Shift Manager in Dundee to lead a dedicated night team, including Supervisors, Loaders, Sorters and Drivers, ensuring smooth overnight operations and continuous performance improvement.

You will drive cost efficiency, service levels and safety compliance while coordinating with client sites for parcel flow into local networks.

Qualifications

• Transport knowledge and regulatory awareness.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate with initiative in a pressurised setting and meet tight deadlines.
• PC literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in fast-paced logistics and good communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night warehouse sortation in a cost-efficient way.
• Ensure depot KPIs such as sortation compliance and departure times are met.
• Manage budget to achieve service levels including labour costs and overtime.
• Coach and develop on-shift supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with the O-Licence requirements.

Come and take charge of a dedicated team and drive performance. Our Night shift typically runs 4 over 7 - starting around 23:00 dependant on volumes.

OurNight Shift Manageris a key role to ensure the smooth running of the Night operation in the Depot; where you will lead teams of Supervisors, Night Loaders, Sorters and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites in to smaller geographic areas to be delivered to the final customer. The Nightshift Manageris fully accountable for the performance of theshift whilst proactively seeking ways to improve cost, service & operational efficiency.

• Manage all areas of the night warehouse sortation in an efficient cost-effective manner.
• Ensuring depot key KPI’s are achieved e.g. sortation compliance, Vehicle Departure times etc.
• Budget Management to achieve the agreed service levels including productivity, labour costs, overtime usage, Agency usage.
• To lead, coach and develop the supervisors on shift.
• To adhere to the legal requirements of the ‘O’ Licence.

Essential skills and experience required:

• Transport knowledge, skills or experience including regulations
• Managementexperience of leading and managing a team.
• Mustbe able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines
• PCLiterate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Experienced of working in fast-paced logistics
• Goodcommunicator and able to liaise at all levels
