Job summary

Evri in Enfield is seeking a Day Shift Warehouse Supervisor to join our Depot Management team. You will lead a mixed team of Loaders, Sorters and Drivers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and accurate parcel processing.

You will coach and manage staff on shift, hit SLA targets, and uphold HSES rules in a fast-paced logistics environment, with clear pathways to progression within the function and wider business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Ability to work on own initiative in a pressurised setting.
• Proven track record of achieving daily targets and SLAs.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Understanding of transport regulations and compliance.

We are currently recruiting for a Day Shift Supervisorto join us at our Enfield Depot. We’re always on the lookout for top talent to join our growing business. In fact, we never stand still, we work hard, make quick decisions and deliver to our ambitious goals every day.

Our Day Shift also knows as Twilight typically starts around 12:00-13:00 dependant on volumes working any 5 days in 7, full flexibility required to cover the operation.

Job Purpose:

Our Day Shift Warehouse Supervisor is a key role working with our Day Shift Manager to ensure the smooth running of the day operation in our Depot where you will lead teams ofLoaders, Sorters and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites in to smaller geographic areas to be delivered to the final customer.

About the Role:

You’ll be joining our business as a key member of the Depot Management team. Working under the Dayshift Manager, you will support your Depot by providing strong man-management to all front-line staff on your shift.

You will supervise a mixed team of contracted and agency staff across our day shifts. This Shift is key to our business as it is when we process the growing returns part of our business as well as parcels collected from our network of Parcel Shops.

We are looking for like minded Professionals who can motivate, manage and where necessary discipline a diverse workforce to get the best out of them.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of up to 30 direct reports providing leadership and direction for the shift
• Develop and train reports and ensure SLA’s are hit for the day shift
• Ensure compliance with all site HSES rules and regulations
• Process BI and MI reports based on work output of Drivers and Loaders
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables

Essential skills and experience required:

• Managementexperience of leading and managing a team
• Mustbe able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines
• Experience of managing teams in a fast-paced logistics environment is a definite advantage
• PCLiterate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Anunderstanding of Transport regulations
• Goodcommunicator and able to liaise at all levels
• Flexibleapproach to work to meet business requirements
