Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a Counterbalance FLT operative within a busy manufacturing site. The role focuses on forklift operations, material movements, loading/unloading, and GMP compliance, with regular overtime, shift allowances, and full training provided.

Night shifts include an extra shift allowance; candidates must hold a Counterbalance FLT licence and a Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.

• Supporting production areas with materials replenishment.
• Carrying out daily FLT safety checks.
• Managing waste and housekeeping activities.
• Operating industrial washing equipment for manufacturing utensils.
• Ensuring high standards of health, safety and GMP compliance.
• Maintaining clean and organised working areas at all times.

Job description

Blue Arrow is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing client for Manufacturing Support Operatives with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established site offering regular overtime, shift allowances and long-term career prospects. Based on the client information and job description provided.

Shift Pattern

You will work a rotating shift pattern:

• 2 weeks: Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:00
• 2 weeks: Monday-Friday, 14:00-22:00
• 2 weeks: Monday-Thursday, 22:00-06:00

The night shift operates over four nights, with employees paid for five, providing an additional shift allowance benefit. Overtime is available and paid at enhanced rates.

The Role

This is a predominantly FLT-based position with some manufacturing support duties.
