• Operate industrial washing equipment for utensils.
• Ensure high standards of health, safety and GMP compliance.
• Maintain clean and organised working areas at all times.

Job description

Blue Arrow is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing client for Manufacturing Support Operatives with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established site offering regular overtime, shift allowances and long-term career prospects. Based on the client information and job description provided.

Shift Pattern

You will work a rotating shift pattern:

• 2 weeks: Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:00
• 2 weeks: Monday-Friday, 14:00-22:00
• 2 weeks: Monday-Thursday, 22:00-06:00
• The night shift operates over four nights, with employees paid for five, providing an additional shift allowance benefit. Overtime is available and paid at enhanced rates.

The Role

This is a predominantly FLT-based position with some manufacturing support duties. Responsibilities include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Transporting raw materials, pallets, drums and IBC containers around site
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Supporting production areas with materials replenishment
• Carrying out daily FLT safety checks
• Managing waste and housekeeping activities
