Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting for three Warehouse First Line Managers at the B&Q Distribution Centre in Worksop. You will lead a team of warehouse operatives and support roles, ensuring productivity, quality, service and safety targets are met in a fast-paced, highly automated environment.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) on rotating days and afternoons (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00). Salary ranges from £34,000 to £38,000 per year plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Experience managing performance, absence, investigations and other employee relations processes.
• Good IT skills including experience using WMS and MS Office.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced operation.
• Experience with MHE and warehouse technology is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team operating in a highly automated warehouse to meet targets.
• Coach and engage staff to drive performance and foster a positive culture.
• Monitor safe and effective use of MHE, RF tech and automated equipment to minimise disruption.
• Champion health and safety culture and manage wellbeing across the team.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service.
