Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager in Coventry. You will supervise safe, efficient operations, ensuring adherence to Work Instructions and training protocols while driving continuous improvements and new standards.

You’ll lead a team, communicate KPIs, and align shift planning with volume forecasts. The role requires a proactive leader with logistics experience, strong IT skills, and a passion for problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Previous First Line Manager experience.
• IT literate with Microsoft Office packages.
• Experience of working in a busy supply chain environment.
• Strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing.
• Strategic mindset and problem-solving.
• Natural leader with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, following guidelines to achieve standards and defined outcomes for your shift.
• Ensure processes established on Work Instructions and trainings on Excellence School.
• Identify and implement new standards to improve operation.
• Communicate Objectives & KPIs to your team and track results in reports.
• Understand Roles & Responsibilities for your position and team.
• Update Daily resource planning for the next shift based on volume data.
