Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the UK is seeking a proactive Warehouse First Line Manager to lead a team on site in the Bury-Manchester area. The role focuses on achieving operational targets while upholding safety and high service levels.

You will be responsible for coaching staff, driving continuous improvement, and coordinating with other functions to ensure smooth, compliant operations in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse colleagues to achieve targets.
• Drive health, safety and wellbeing across the site and ensure compliance with procedures and legislation.
• Manage daily warehouse operations to meet productivity, quality and service KPIs.
• Coach, train and give regular performance feedback to team members.
• Conduct performance reviews, manage absences and return-to-work discussions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational performance.
• Manage resources to meet changing customer demands and business needs.
