Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead our operations during night shifts, ensuring a safe and efficient facility while delivering on KPI targets. You will coordinate tasks, monitor attendance, and manage resource planning to support the Operations Manager.

The role requires proven leadership, IT literacy including Excel, and a strong grasp of logistics and warehousing.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience as a Team Leader or First Line Manager.
• IT literate with Microsoft Office Packages and Excel.
• Strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing.
• Strategic mindset and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and team-inspiring skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the operation to meet safety and efficiency standards during shift.
• Communicate H&S and Environmental Policy changes to all levels promptly.
• Understand and monitor Objectives & KPIs for the role and team.
• Assign tasks based on daily resource planning from Operations Manager.
• Ensure accurate recording of indirect hours and attendance for planning.
• Flag deviations in attendance to Second Line Leadership for updates.
