Job summary

Talented People is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Dispatch Supervisor for a busy Crawley warehouse. You will lead the late shift, oversee outbound dispatch, and drive accurate order processing through the WMS to meet customer deadlines.

The role requires strong leadership, system-based logistics experience, and a proactive, hands-on approach. Excellent organisation and communication are essential, with a focus on throughput and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse Team Leader or dispatch supervisor.

• Experience in a system-driven warehouse environment using WMS/ERP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives during the late shift.
• Upstream dispatch activities: ensure orders are processed and shipped accurately.
• Manage workflow using the WMS and handheld scanning technology.
• Monitor order status, dispatch schedules, and shipment priorities.
• Ensure stock movements and inventory transactions are recorded electronically.
• Coordinate with transport and internal departments to meet delivery schedules.
• Investigate and resolve system, stock, or dispatch discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor team performance, productivity, and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and warehouse best practice.
• Identify opportunities to improve dispatch processes and operational efficiency.
