Job summary

Talented People is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to manage the late shift in a fast-paced Crawley warehouse. You will lead a team, oversee outbound dispatch and ensure orders are processed accurately using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scanners.

The role requires strong leadership, system-driven operations and a proactive approach to meet customer deadlines with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as Warehouse Team Leader or similar.
• Strong experience with WMS/ERP systems.
• Solid knowledge of dispatch, shipping and logistics.
• Experience supervising warehouse teams and workloads.
• Comfort with warehouse technology and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team during the late shift.
• Oversee outbound dispatch and ensure accurate processing.
• Utilise WMS/ERP to manage workflow and scans.
• Monitor order status, schedules and priorities in systems.
• Record stock movements electronically and replenish as needed.
• Coordinate with transport and internal departments to meet schedules.
• Investigate discrepancies promptly and resolve issues.
• Track KPIs and team performance, driving improvements.
• Ensure health & safety compliance and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve dispatch efficiency.
