Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our expanding team. This hands-on role will oversee the operation of a section within the Warehouse function, supporting management and guiding a group of operatives to achieve business targets.

You will assist in running an efficient warehouse operation, take inbound deliveries, check for damage, store goods, and prepare orders for dispatch across the network. A teamwork ethos and clear problem escalation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation to meet targets and demand.

• Promote a culture of teamwork within the team.
• Resolve issues at appropriate levels and elevate when needed.
• Ensure lifting and manoeuvring follows manual handling procedures.

Our warehouse team is looking for a new Team Leader to join them.

We strive to deliver an outstanding service to our customers and your role as a Team Leader is key to this. It's a hands on role where you will be responsible for the operation of a section within the Warehouse function. Supporting the management team, responsible for a group of operatives and ensuring an achievement of business targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets
• Take delivery of goods inbound, checking for damaged or missing items
• Store goods appropriately
• Sort orders for dispatch around Network
• Promote a culture of teamwork
• Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level
• Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvering of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures
