Deutsche Post in Scunthorpe is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator on a 6-month secondment to coordinate daily warehouse and distribution duties, ensuring health and safety standards are met in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a background in supply chain and logistics, solid understanding of warehouse operations, excellent communication, and ideally prior management experience.

The position runs Mon-Fri with rotating shifts and pays £28,010.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Coordinate and provide support in the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve the operational standards and defined outcomes
• Communicate productivity and direct hours targets to your team ensuring they have a clear understanding of what is expected from them
• Managing a department in the warehouse e.g. high value, goods in, goods out
• Coordinate and provide support/information in the running of a safe and efficient operation
