Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Skelmersdale is seeking a Warehouse Administrator to support the smooth flow of goods, information and processes across the warehouse. You will handle records, reports and bookings in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills and effective communication with multiple teams. 4 on, 4 off shifts are offered, with a night shift premium and full-time permanent contract.

We're looking for a Warehouse Administrator to join our team in Skelmersdale, providing vital support to ensure the smooth flow of goods, information and processes across the warehouse. A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Maintaining accurate records across Warehouse Management Systems, ensuring operational data is updated, validated and readily available
• Generating reports and performance information to support daily operations and provide valuable insight to the wider team
• Processing inbound orders, coordinating bookings and preparing warehouse documentation to support efficient picking and dispatch activities
• Investigating system queries and discrepancies, working closely with operational colleagues to resolve issues quickly and effectively
• Providing administrative support across the warehouse function, ensuring processes are followed, records are maintained and deadlines are consistently achieved

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Have previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or supply chain administration role and understand the importance of accuracy in a fast-moving operation
• Are confident using Warehouse Management Systems, Microsoft Office applications and other administrative tools to manage workloads effectively
• Can prioritise tasks and remain organised in an environment where deadlines and customer requirements are constantly changing
• Have strong communication skills and enjoy building positive working relationships with colleagues across different teams
• Take pride in producing high-quality work, with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
