Job summary

GSF Car Parts is looking for a Warehouse Controller to lead a team of Warehouse Operatives and ensure stock delivery aligns with sales budgets. The role involves managing Goods In/Out, Returns, and Stock Control, with a focus on efficient operations and customer service.

The position requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with a hands-on approach to daily challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a warehouse, ideally in FMCG or fast-paced env.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to meet objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning and organisational capabilities.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to change.
• Customer and sales focus with practical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives across Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control.
• Oversee accurate picking and loading for timely customer deliveries.
• Verify stock quantities against the computer system and maintain accuracy.
• Develop practical solutions to operational challenges using judgment and initiative.
• Support branch manager with holiday/sickness cover, weekly planning and workforce development.
• Create a positive environment that enables team members to reach their potential.
