Job summary

GSF Car Parts is seeking a Warehouse Controller in Manchester. You will motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives and ensure the smooth running of Goods In, Goods Out, Returns, and Stock Control departments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, particularly in fast-paced FMCG environments. We offer 20 days of annual leave, performance-based bonuses, and the opportunity for training and career progression.

• Experience in FMCG preferred.

About The Role

As a Warehouse Controller at GSF Car Parts, you are responsible for motivating and leading a team of Warehouse Operatives. You will ensure stock can deliver the sales budgets and that the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly.

Main Duties Include

• Manage the organisation and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departments
• Pick and load van / carrier accurately for timely customer delivery when required
• Check stock quantities are correct against computer
• Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles
• Ensure the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly and assist the branch manager with holidays/sickness cover, preparing weekly plans, developing the warehouse team and working with Drivers to ensure the best delivery service for customers
• Create a positive and supportive environment where employees are valued and can reach their true potential

Working Hours

Average hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working.

About You

As the Warehouse Controller, you will have a great track record of managing a warehouse, ideally gained within a fast‑paced environment such as FMCG.
