Job summary

Placr Recruitment's client is offering a Warehouse and Logistics Assistant role with a salary of £36,442 per annum plus bonus. The position is based in Horsham, UK, working 44 hours per week across early and late shifts.

You will handle goods-in, stock control, packing and dispatch, while maintaining records and supporting shop floor operations. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, basic Microsoft Office skills and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office for data entry and record keeping.
• Forklift licence (counterbalance) or experience operating materials-handling equipment.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining an organised warehouse.
• Proactive team player who can use initiative and work under pressure.
• Positive attitude with a genuine desire to learn, develop and progress.

Responsibilities

• Oversee goods-in, stock control, order preparation, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain accurate computerised records and stock levels.
• Support factory shop floor operations and maintain safety and organisation standards.
• Ensure high standards of stock accuracy and documentation.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the warehouse and supply chain, covering goods-in, stock control, order preparation, packing and dispatch. You’ll also maintain accurate computerised records, support the factory shop floor and help ensure high standards of organisation, safety and stock accuracy.

What We're Looking For
