Job summary

proviT LTD in Warwickshire is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager to help run a busy warehouse and logistics operation. Based in Wellesbourne, you will support the Warehouse Manager and lead a small team through peak seasons.

The role covers stock control, goods in/out, picking, loading and maintaining accurate records with a WMS. You should be hands-on, practical and enjoy keeping health and safety standards high. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience
• Good experience with stock control and inventory
• Good IT skills and confidence using Excel
• Experience using a WMS
• Good attention to detail
• A practical, hands-on approach
• Good communication skills
• The ability to organise your own workload and meet deadlines
• The ability to lift and move items up to 25kg
• FLT Licence is desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Warehouse Manager with the daily running of the warehouse
• Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries
• Managing stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks
• Picking and preparing orders
• Loading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Managing stock rotation and reducing waste
• Keeping accurate stock records using a WMS
• Reporting damaged, missing or incorrect stock
• Keeping the warehouse organised and safe
• Supporting warehouse staff with daily tasks
• Carrying out basic equipment checks, cleaning and charging
• Tracking equipment and returning to the warehouse
• Carrying out basic repairs and DIY tasks where required
• Supporting Health & Safety across the warehouse and yard

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation in Wellesbourne.

This is a hands-on role supporting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse, this is managing a small permanent team with large seasonal peaks.

You'll be involved in stock control, goods in and out, picking and loading, team support and the preparation of equipment.
