Job summary

Halecroft Recruitment is recruiting a Warehouse Administrator for a busy Trafford Park operation in Manchester. You will support daily admin across HR, training, payroll, and warehouse records, working closely with leadership and project teams.

You will maintain accurate records, coordinate inductions, manage time and attendance, and help drive improvements in processes and safety across the site. This is a permanent, on-site role with a Monday–Friday shift.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems or time and attendance systems would be advantageous.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to shift leaders and project management teams.
  • Maintain accurate records relating to staff qualifications, training, certificates, and development needs.
  • Support the management of warehouse organisation charts and operational records.
  • Assist with new starter inductions, training coordination, and maintaining training documentation.
  • Act as a key point of contact for HR, supporting with absence reporting, holidays, return-to-work processes, overtime information, and payroll administration.
  • Manage the Time & Attendance system and ensure accurate employee records are maintained.
  • Raise purchase orders, track deliveries, and support invoice checking processes.
  • Monitor warehouse and office supplies, placing orders when required.
  • Support customer claims processes, including gathering CCTV information relating to missing stock.
  • Ensure daily production and operational records are completed accurately.
  • Report incidents and near misses, ensuring relevant documentation is completed.
  • Support health and safety processes and promote safe working practices.
  • Assist with process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Provide general administrative support across the warehouse facility as required.
  • Provide cover for the WMS Systems Lead when required to support project delivery.

Warehouse Administrator

Location: Trafford Park, Manchester
Salary: £30,000 - £32,700
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation based in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused administrator who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and supporting a wider operational team.

Working closely with warehouse leadership, HR, and project teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily administration processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting continuous improvement across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

About You:
  • The successful candidate will have previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or operational administration environment. You will be highly organised, confident working with systems, and able to manage multiple priorities within a busy setting
