Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Ward Receptionist to support the Gastroenterology/Endocrine/Haematology ward. You will work with nurses, medical and allied teams to ensure high-quality patient experience and smooth ward flow.

The role requires proactivity, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure with multiple NHS applications. Rotation includes weekdays and weekends, with 7:30am–6pm shifts.

Qualifikationen

• GCSE level education is required.
• Experience in a busy customer-facing environment with frequent interruptions and competing priorities.
• Experience of working in the NHS.
• Experience of hospital environment.

Aufgaben

• Admit, discharge and transfer patients on the ward.
• Answer telephone enquiries from internal/external departments and relatives.
• Process patient notes promptly and maintain confidentiality.
• Organise transport and manage stationery levels.
• Coordinate ward requests to maintain ward flow.
