Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to assume the Ward Manager role on a busy surgical/medical escalation ward. You will oversee clinical governance, staff supervision, and the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead a team of nurses, drive standards, audit care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to develop services.

Responsibilities

• You will carry overall continuing responsibility for the management and leadership of the ward including administration and the overall co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting and auditing of standards of care.
• Lead a team of highly qualified nurses to ensure we deliver excellent patient care
• Be accountable for the quality of care delivered within clinical area by nursing
• Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to develop services provided for patients within clinical areas
