Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board invites applications for a Deputy Ward Manager on Samaritan Ward. The role focuses on leadership, governance and delivery of high‑quality care in a busy surgical/medical escalation ward.

You will support the Ward Manager, supervise staff, mentor student nurses and help maintain Fundamentals of Care to a high standard. Welsh language ability is desirable, with English also welcome.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered Nurse with current registration.
• Degree-level qualification or working towards one within an agreed timeframe.
• CPD maintained or actively pursuing a relevant Postgraduate Diploma.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage the ward, ensuring delivery of high‑quality care.
• Support the Ward Manager with administration, assessment, planning, and evaluation of care.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and student nurses.
• Promote multidisciplinary teamwork and audit standards of care.
