Gateshead Health is seeking a Ward Manager to lead a busy medical ward, ensuring high quality, compassionate and safe care around the clock. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, aligned to evidence-based practice and local/national standards.
The role requires significant Band 6 experience, NMC registration, and a nursing leadership mindset to support ongoing service improvements within the NHS Trust.

To support and continually develop staff to ensure they have the appropriate level of skill, knowledge and competence to meet service/specialty requirements.
Based in the North East of England we provide a range of hospital and community health services from our leading facilities, including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Blaydon urgent care centre and Bensham Hospital, all within Gateshead.
