Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Community and Neighbourhood Health Services worker for a part-time 18 hours per week role at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough.

The post is permanent, Band 2, with duties including reception, patient and public enquiries, and working within a multidisciplinary team. DBS checks apply and training is provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs A-C (Maths & English) or equivalent qualification or experience.
• NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a clerical environment and NHS setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties and handling public enquiries.
• Direct contact with patients, relatives and other members of the public.
• Prioritise workload to fit around a busy ward environment.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team as a good team player.
• Telephone and computer tasks with excellent communication and organisational skills.
