Job summary

The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough is seeking a Clinical Support Worker (higher level) to join Ward 21, a paediatric medical ward, to support the nursing team in providing direct patient care to children and young people. The role also involves some administrative duties and is offered on a part-time basis.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and literacy Level 2 or GCSE A-C/4-9 equivalent.
• Level 3 vocational qualification or related training.
• Care Certificate or first 6 months completion required.

Responsibilities

• Care for children from birth to 18 years with a family-centred approach.
• Support nursing team with direct patient care and some administrative tasks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing training.
