County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Ward Clerk for Ward 1 Complex Frailty Unit. The role is 22.5 hours on Ward 1, providing clerical support to nursing staff to free them from non-nursing duties and to enhance patient care.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive team on a 32-bed ward serving elderly patients, handling admissions data and routine clerical tasks in a busy NHS environment.

Qualificações

• Good general education, minimum 3 GCSEs or equivalent including English.
• NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or working towards.
• Understanding of medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Receive patients and visitors to the ward.
• Input patient admission, attendance, transfer and discharge data into patient administration systems with accurate GP details.
