Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Ward Assistant at Royal Stoke Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent. You will deliver meals to patients, staff and visitors, ensuring a positive experience with a cheerful, patient-focused approach.

The role involves on-ward catering duties, daily documentation, and maintaining hygiene standards. We offer uniform provision, access to Blue Light Card, Sodexo benefits, and 20 days holiday per year pro rata.

Qualifications

• Deliver a professional catering service on wards and communicate with ward staff.
• Complete daily documentation accurately per schedules and standards.
• Safely transport and deliver food and beverage trolleys to wards per food safety rules.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across ward kitchens and catering areas.
• Report equipment issues and ensure safe, clean working order.
