Job summary

The post holder will contribute to rehabilitation programmes, support data collection, and perform designated non-clinical tasks to ensure efficient service

Qualifications

• Ward-based rehabilitation support
• Assist with functional assessments and progress recording
• Provide delegated therapy interventions under supervision
• Prepare and maintain therapy areas and equipment
• Support data collection and patient documentation
• Complete non-clinical tasks to support service delivery

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of clinical interventions allocated by Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
• Provide flexible, client-centred interventions to facilitate discharge into the community
• Support rehabilitation programmes planned by therapists in collaboration with clients
• Help progress the programme on wards to maximise independence and discharge
• Assess for and issue equipment to assist daily living
• Undertake non-clinical tasks to support the therapy service
• Participate in check visits of therapy equipment at patients' properties
