Job summary

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.
• Experience of working in a customer facing/reception role.
• Experience of using IT package.

Responsibilities

• Provide front line clerical service to clinical staff within the ward and support patients and relatives during visits.
• Input patient level data into relevant clinical systems for admissions, discharges and transfers with data quality and information governance adherence.
• Manage workload across wards with flexibility as the role develops to meet service needs.
• Support ward staff with telephone enquiries and assist with mail distribution and filing.
• Order non-stock equipment and stationery and induct new staff as required.
