Job summary

Human Appeal invites applications for the Waqf Fundraising Lead position based in Birmingham. The role focuses on marketing The Waqf Fund’s products and services, building donor relationships and delivering regional and national fundraising campaigns alongside the Waqf Manager.

You will develop the volunteer function, devise new fundraising opportunities, and strive to grow donations year on year to ensure long-term financial sustainability of The Waqf Fund in line with strategy.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCSE Mathematics, English. Ideally educated to degree level.
• Minimum of 2 years in similar post, with 3–4 years’ fundraising experience.
• Competent with Microsoft Office, social media and donor management systems.

Responsibilities

• Promote and adhere to the fundraising code of conduct and best practice.
• Develop, nurture and maintain donor relationships nationally via networking and social media.
• Establish clear regional and national communications between local organisations and The Waqf Fund.
• Manage fundraising projects/events to capture attention and generate ROI throughout the year.
• Support volunteer recruitment and development within FR to grow capacity.
