Job summary

Human Appeal is seeking a dedicated Mosque Coordinator to join our Fundraising Department in the UK. You will develop and maximise income from mosques across the country by building strong relationships, securing bookings, and promoting the charity's work.

The role requires handling Ramadan collections, recruiting volunteers, maintaining data in the donor system, ensuring cash controls, and representing HA to mosques and ISOCs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar post.
• GCSE Maths and English.
• Excellent English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of Islamic charitable giving (Zakat, Qurbani, Waqf, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maximise income from mosques across the UK by building strong relationships with mosque representatives.
• Secure collections during Ramadan and year-round; manage bookings and events.
• Recruit and coordinate mosque volunteers and FR resources.
• Maintain the donor management system with mosque data and receipts.
• Provide receipts, certificates and reports to mosques to build trust.
• Act as HA ambassador for mosques/ISOC partners across the UK and promote the HA brand.
• Ensure cash controls and security; monitor logs and safeguard donations.
• Collaborate with FR and finance teams to ensure timely data entry and Gift Aid maximisation.
