Job Description:

Join MacIntyre as a Waking Nights Support Worker, and be a key part of changing lives with kindness, support, and real commitment, one night at a time.

Our friendly team in Warrington are seeking a Waking Nights Support Worker for 35 hours per week. As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you’ll be a calm and reassuring presence for people with learning disabilities and/or autism, helping them feel safe, supported, and valued throughout the night in their own homes.

You’ll be supporting some fantastic people, like Emily*, who loves getting stuck into a jigsaw puzzle, going out for lunch, listening to her favourite music and crafting. She would love someone who’s calm and patient to help her feel safe at night, so she's ready for the things she enjoys the next day.

You’ll check in regularly overnight to make sure Emily is settled and comfortable, and be there if she wakes up and needs a hand - whether that’s using the bathroom, having a warm drink, or just a reassuring chat. When it's quieter, you’ll help get the house ready for the morning, as you'll know the difference a fresh, welcoming space can make. If you're someone who’s passionate about people living the life they choose, we’d love to hear from you.

*Names changed for confidentiality

Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorships as we await further guidance from the Home Office. Applications requiring sponsorship cannot be considered at this time. We appreciate your understanding.
